"Mora Vora" is banned in the stadium, Shkurte Fejza and Lorik Cana

The song "Mora Povara", which became the anthem of Albanian fans after Albania's historic qualification to the European Championship in Germany, has been banned from being sung again in the stadium. On the eve of the League of Nations challenges with the Czech Republic and Ukraine, the song Shkurte Fejzaj was not conquered by the fans in the premises of the "National Arena", as, according to the statements of the fans, they were informed by the authorities that it would not be sung.

The artist Shkurte Fejzaj, who created this song as a guest on the show "Albania Live" on Top Channel, called this decision senseless, emphasizing that the purpose of the song is to honor a historical figure for the two nations, that of the National Hero. Ismail Qemali.

"I felt very honored that they invited me to sing in the stadium and it was an incredible experience. But the song that is forbidden or denied, to me is something meaningless. It hurts me because this song is about a figure of the signs that Kosovo has and is considered a holy figure for Albania as well. This song took the size of the stadium" , said the artist.

The former captain of the National Team, Lorik Cana, commented on this situation, who said that this decision will not stop the fans from singing.

"I read a little about it online. It's not that I got a lot of attention, but it's lucky that we have a Skurte Fejzaj who is a special figure for us in Kosovo. As for the song part, to be honest, I'm not much into the event, but one thing is certain, let's not give it a negative aspect. The song will be sung in schools, in stadiums and when the fans sing, there is no one who can stop them. I don't see it as a controversy. As for the song "I got words", it is a song of our people, of sacrifices and when it is sung in the stadium, there is nothing that stops it, with or without music in the background" , said Cana.
