Orges Shehi resigns from managing the Balkan team

It seems that Orges Shehi's journey with the Balkan team in Kosovo lasted a year.

Although the official announcement is still awaited, a few days ago, before the match with Drenica, the Durrës coach informed the team leaders from Suhareka that he will leave at the end of the phase, in December of this year.

After leading this team in 34 matches so far with a record of 16 wins, 11 draws and only 7 losses, Shehi apparently no longer feels in optimal conditions with the team that made Kosovo's history in the last 5 years, especially with its participation in the European Cups up to the group stage, when at that time it was led by Ilir Daja.

Today, Balkan is a team with financial or management problems, which have led to the transfer market being blocked, while TCh reports that they have confirmed that they still have about two months without being paid.

A situation far from what was expected for a new team in Kosovo football, which had very quickly started earning money from football, starting from participation in Europe and player sales, but apparently not everything that glitters is gold, as the saying goes.

So at this stage of his career, Orges Shehi, who holds the management record for his longevity in Tirana, 2021-2023 or 981 days, in this adventure of his, the second longest in his career, in the Balkans with 340 days so far, has decided to leave.

Tirana and Partizan are waiting, not to forget Teuta, the city of his birthplace.
