"I take all responsibility for Ibrahimovic"/ Lazio's sports director explains his "bet": Hysaj may return to the team

Lazio have been virtually inactive in the January transfer market, despite various injuries to the team. The only approach is that of Arijon Ibrahimovic, the 19-year-old Albanian who was transferred from Bayern Munich.
A choice that Lazio's sports director, Angelo Fabiani, spoke about today in an interview with "Lazio Style Radio" where he explained the club's strategies, insisting that he will not be bought to please those looking for an active club in the transfer market.
"We have only brought a guy born in 2005 and I take full responsibility for this move. Nowadays, improving a midfield like Lazio's is not easy, buying just to say it doesn't make sense. Why did we take Ibrahimovic? After all, last year he represented what the 2006s are doing now. He has done well and has quality. It is an important investment for his age. I don't bring 33-year-olds, because I want to go with a model like Feyenoord with young people who are hungry and want to explode.
"Ibrahimovic is a player born in 2005 who has the opportunity to show all his qualities. Then it depends on whether he shows them in practice. We should never be prejudiced against these guys," said Fabiani.
He then spoke about Elseid Hysaj's return to the team, as happened in previous matches where he also entered the field of play. "There is no doubt that today with Lazar's injury, Hysaj is an integral part of the team as he was against Napoli. Those who were left out of the group have lived as part of the group with their friends and we have respected the professionalism and values they have. Maybe they can return to the Lazio group," he said, hinting that Hysaj could be included again in the team's lists for the second half of the season.
