Torricelli recounts his first training session with Zidane: What planet does this guy come from?!

Former Juventus defender Moreno Torricelli has shared special memories from his early days with the Bianconeri in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. A story full of emotions and nostalgia, which brings back the glorious period of the '90s in Turin.
He recalls his first emotions after the transfer to Juventus, an unexpected move for someone who had come from amateur football: "At first I was a little shy, it wasn't my world. I had to get used to everything. Think about it, in just three months I went from a salary of 2–3 million lire to one of 80 million. It was like a dream," he recounts.
Torricelli reveals that the player who impressed him the most in those early days was Gianluca Vialli, the legend who unfortunately is no longer alive: "I studied Vialli's personality a little. We both arrived at the same time: he as the champion of Italy with Sampdoria, I as an anonymous. But over time we became friends. He didn't like driving, so every morning I would go and pick him up for training. He was a real brother and a great captain."

We had just won the Champions League and many didn't know him. But in the first training session he left us all speechless. One pass, two dribbles and he was gone. Our mouths dropped. We looked at each other as if to say: 'what planet did this guy come from?'".
