The last two weeks of this year in the Macedonian championship will be played without fans. This was the last decision of the Football Federation of North Macedonia, taking into account the inter-ethnic riots and various problems that appeared on the stadium steps this period.
"The competition commission accepted the request and decided that the matches of the 17th round (December 3, 13:00) and the 18th round (December 8, 13:00) in the First League will be played without the presence of the public", explained the Federation.
The federation has notified all teams of the First League about the latest decision.
"The decision of the Competition Commission was made due to an evaluation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the latest developments and the prevention of any kind of violence and abuse before, during and after football matches", explained the Federation.
