Vodafone Albania Turns On the Network with 5G

Vodafone Albania has secured the new 5G spectrum in the 3400-3800 MHz frequency bands in the last auction
conducted by the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP), which will improve
the existing capacities of our mobile network, offering faster connections and highly responsive to
customers, and will pave the way for innovative applications in the future. The new spectrum license is
valid until 2039.

The Real 5G Experience
Vodafone Albania was the first operator to introduce the real 5G experience in Albania five years ago
.
Securing the spectrum in the 3400-3800 MHz bands will give us the opportunity to fully exploit the advantages
of high-speed 5G, meeting the demands of our customers, both current and future
. This innovation will develop the full potential of various applications and technologies, including
remotely controlled robotics.

In Albania, Vodafone boasts an excellent mobile network, which continues to expand along with

The 5G experience will first be introduced in the main cities of Tirana and Durrës, with
further expansion planned for other cities until 2025. It will be immediately accessible to
smartphones adapted for the use of 5G and depending on the 5G update of the IoS and Android system in
Albania.
