Tirana water supply tanker hits citizen to death, UKT reacts: We are close to the family and are following the investigation of the incident with full seriousness

Tirana Water and Sewerage has reacted to the serious incident that occurred this Tuesday morning in the capital, when a state water utility boat fatally hit a woman riding an electric motorcycle.

The state-owned company expresses its deep regret for the accident that occurred on "Gjergj Fishta" Boulevard and conveys its most sincere condolences to the victim's family.

"In these difficult moments, we are close to the family and are following with full seriousness the clarification of the circumstances of the event, in cooperation with the relevant authorities," the message shared by UKT states.

The institution guarantees that it remains committed to taking every necessary measure and to being in full support of the deceased's family. The identity of the woman is not yet known, while the Police services are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The driver of the autobot did not leave the scene of the incident. He was photographed looking shocked and scared as he waited for the arrival of police officers to continue legal procedures.

The victim's family members arrived at the scene immediately after the accident. Her husband was seen in serious condition, bursting into tears near the spot where his life partner lost his life.
