The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime is being held this Monday, March 20, with closed doors, the confrontation session between the repentant justice Luftar Reçi and the defendants Viktor Ymeri, Emiljano Shullazi, Indrit Taullai, Indrit Rusi, Lulzim Berisha, Plaurent Dervishaj (both wanted) accused of murdering Klodian Saliu and Vajdin Lame.
Luftar Reçi, the repentant Justice
The last session on March 6 failed due to the absence of Luftar Reçi.
Through a letter sent to the court, Reçi argued that he was in a bad state of health and that his company was dangerous.
On the other hand, the defendant Emiljano Shullazi stated that Luftar Reçi should be in front of the accused and testify at the hearing.
"I want to see him in the eye when he testifies", he is said to have said at the hearing on March 6, reports Panorama.
In conclusion, GJKKO imposed mandatory court attendance for Luftar Reçin.
"Non-appearance will be taken as refusal", the court said.
On the other hand, it is learned that several other witnesses have been called in today's session.
