Suspected of supplying cocaine to various areas of Tirana, a 44-year-old man has been arrested in Tirana. The citizen with the initials SK, 44 years old, resident of Vora, was arrested. During the physical search, 2 packages of suspected cocaine were found and seized from him, with a total weight of about 1 kg and 680 grams.

POLICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tirana/The successive strikes against the criminal activity of supplying and distributing hard drugs continue. The police operation codenamed "Bulevardi" is finalized. A 44-year-old man was identified and arrested for supplying and distributing cocaine in various areas of Tirana.

Another significant quantity of cocaine, weighing 1 kg and 680 grams, was seized. During the phases of the latest operation codenamed "Zones", conducted during the months of May and June, approximately 1.5 kilograms of cocaine and 1.1 kilograms of heroin were seized.

Following intensive controls and work based on police intelligence to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Tirana Police Department provided information that a citizen would transport and distribute a significant amount of the narcotic substance cocaine in the area of ​​Bulevardi i Ri and in the road segments that connect the capital with the Paskuqani Bridge area.

Based on this information, the police operation codenamed "Bulevardi" was organized and finalized, within the framework of which the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen SK, 44 years old, resident of Vora, was made. During the operation, on "Riglata" street, the Police services located and stopped the 44-year-old for control.

During the physical search, 2 packages of suspected cocaine were found and seized from him, with a total weight of approximately 1 kg and 680 grams. From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen supplied other persons with cocaine, with the aim of selling it in doses, and distributed part of the quantity himself.

In cooperation with the Prosecution, work continues to identify and apprehend other persons involved in this criminal activity. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
