Gjin Guri, the person who was injured in the serious incident in Dukagjin while his father Zef Guri was shot dead, has rejected the claims of the local police of Shkodra that the son of uncle Gjovalin Guri is the author of this serious incident. In an interview with the journalist of News24 and BalkanWeb, Senad Nikshiqi, from the Military Hospital in Tirana, Gjin Guri calls the fact that the police have announced the search for his cousin Gjovalin Guri as a suspected perpetrator, shameful.

Even the suspect Gjovalin Guri, a day before the escape, denied the accusations against him, which the injured Gjin Guri himself rejects, who asks the police to find the real perpetrators of the father's murder and not to accuse the uncle's son, who according to his has nothing to do with the serious event that happened on September 27 in the Shosh-Kir axis in Dukagjin. The 46-year-old, who received four bullets in his body but managed to escape this assassination, says that there was no conflict with any person about the forest in the Shosh unit, which is also the main track for which the police are investigating.

Gjin Guri also tells how the incident happened while he was coming with his father from Shoshi towards Shkodra in this pickup truck when he was suddenly shot with an automatic machine by at least two people who were hiding in this part a few meters above the road while he deliberately deviated into the abyss to escape the barrage of bullets.
The injured Gjin Guri also gave this statement to the State Police, removing any possible doubt that the murder of his father Zef Guri was done by his cousin Gjovalin Guri and asking the police to find the real perpetrators.
