Albanians have been massively sensitized after the request for help from the minor Luis Meçja, who is fighting for his life after a tragic event. In an open campaign on the GoFundMe platform, only after a few hours a full 75,000 euros have been collected, out of the 80,000 that was intended to cover the costs of his treatment.

Luis has asked for help to pay for medical expenses, stressing that his family is in a difficult economic situation, a call that has caused a wide reaction from citizens and institutions.

Meanwhile, the Trauma Hospital in Tirana announced that, after a detailed examination, Luisi does not need treatment abroad, as his condition has stabilized and he no longer requires transfer for further treatment.

Luisi was seriously injured after being stabbed at least four times by the suspected perpetrator of his friend's murder, Martin Cani, an event that shocked the whole of Albania and caused great concern for the safety of young people.
