State Police: More effective fight against cybercrime

The Director General of the State Police, Senior Director Ilir Proda, welcomed to the premises of the General Directorate of the State Police, representatives of the company "Kateryna Kruk", the regional director of Public Policies for Central and Eastern Europe, and Birger Witt, manager of Trust and Security for Central and Eastern Europe.
Also attending the meeting were the Director of the Criminal Police Department, Senior Director Neritan Nallbati, and the Director of Cyber Crime Investigation, First Director Ervina Gjana.
According to the State Police announcement, the discussion was extremely open and constructive, with the primary objective of strengthening cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and protecting the digital space.
The meeting focused on addressing the issues encountered on social platforms managed by the company "Meta INC.", as well as the need to create joint mechanisms to increase the efficiency of online risk investigation and management.
Representatives of the State Police thanked the company "Meta INC." for its cooperation so far, especially for emergency cases related to the protection of minors, and expressed their willingness to further intensify this partnership.
This meeting confirms the shared commitment to building a safer digital space for citizens and a more effective investigative process in facing the cyber challenges of the time.
