Analyst Dritan Hila has described the approach of the new American administration, with President Trump at the helm of the White House, as a continuation of support for SPAK.
Invited to the "Open" show on News24, Hila said that the US embassy in Tirana has a strong influence on SPAK and OPDAT's support for the Special Prosecution Office is very political.
"I'm not talking about Trump's approach, but the return of Americans to Tirana are positions of the American administration, continuation of work and a political and moral signal for SPAK."
"With the departure of the Americans, SPAK had a kind of contraction, a return to the direction of government and oblivion from the other side. But the American presence gives SPAK support, as was a great help the US statement that said this support would continue. SPAK is the only body that gives hope to Albanians that those who have abused their funds will be punished," said Hila.
