Numerous fire foci have been reactivated again this afternoon in the forest of Pishporo and Darëzeza in Fier.
After the intervention from the air of two Canadair planes, the outbreaks have been reactivated again favored by the strong wind, while currently the most massive outbreak is located in the Pisha e Bute area.
Faced with this situation, the authorities are looking for reinforcements from other regions, while 11 fire engines are on the ground to extinguish the flames.
Meanwhile, according to preliminary estimates, the area covered by the fire during these days reaches 800 hectares. Despite the intervention from the air and from the ground, the Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi has considered it one of the most difficult fires to deal with in the country to date.
