Caught with a sniper in the car, the former officer of RENEA, Remal Rada is sentenced to 7.9 years in prison

The Tirana court has today sentenced former RENEA officer Remal Rada to 7.9 years in prison and his friend Elton Hithi to 5 years in prison.

The former employee of RENEA was arrested on July 26, 2022 by the Tirana police. The former officer of the elite forces RENEA was driving in Tirana with a sniper modified for shooting at a distance of up to 2 thousand meters. 

39-year-old Remal Rada has served for more than 13 years in the special department of the RENEA forces, from which he was separated only a few months ago.
