Special Court/ Murder of Vajdin Lamaj, Agron Kulicaj testifies: Yes, Shullazi's name was mentioned

The former Deputy General Director of the State Police, Agron Kuliçaj, testifies in the trial against Emiljano Shullazin and other defendants for the murder of Vajdin Lamaj and Klodian Saliu.
" In 2008, Luftar Reçi addressed me with a letter where he talked about some serious events in Dibër, such as arms trafficking and murders in Tirana and Durrës. After this letter, I contacted him in prison together with the two directors Tonin Vocaj and Arjan Kurti. I did not interview him, because I did not have a functional duty. The General Prosecutor of the time, Ina Rama, was informed about the case and the case was transferred to the Prosecutor's Office for Serious Crimes , Kulicaj testified.
On the other hand, when asked by the defendant Emiliano Shullazi if he mentioned his name in the letter regarding the murder of Vajdin Lamaj, Kulicaj replied: He did.
In today's session, two experts from the Institute of Forensic Medicine, who have examined Reçi's condition at the request and decision of SPAK, will be presented as witnesses.
In the 2022 examination, the experts came to the conclusion that Luftar Reçi is responsible for what he declared.
The testimony was accompanied by strong debates between them and the lawyers of the defendants, who underlined that for the associate Reçi there was another expert report in 2013, where he was depressed and unreliable.
The lawyers asked for a new expertise with psychology lecturers, professors, psychiatrists and even foreign experts to assess his mental state.
In the same session, the court fined the defendant Viktor Imeraj with 5,000 ALL for violating the authority of the court. During the testimony of the IML experts, he took the floor saying:
"Ladies s'mbakan mend, don't suffer from sclerosis, tell us to give you medicine?"
While the defendant Emiljano Shullazi, referring to the fact that the interview of Reçi by the IML experts had lasted about 50 minutes, asked: "How is it possible that in a 50-minute interview, you came to conclusions about him, while we were here for 4 hours when we confronted each other, 'did we get it?'
The other defendant, Indrit Rusi, asked one of the doctors: " Did you work in 2016 in the detention center of Durrës?"
The lawyers in the process claimed that the expertise for Luftar Reçi from IML was carried out under the pressure of SPAK and that the doctors were aware that he was an associate of justice.
