DUI proposes Talat Xhaferi for technical prime minister in North Macedonia

The leadership of the Democratic Union for Integration at today's meeting has decided to propose the current Speaker of Parliament Talat Xhaferi as technical prime minister.

"BDI proposes Talat Xhaferi as the Prime Minister of the Government which will be in force from the end of January until the election of the new Government", declared Bujar Osmani, Spokesman of the BDI.

Regarding the possible pre-election coalitions, according to Osmani, the party bodies have authorized Ahmet to continue the negotiations and propose to the party the determination with which to go to the elections, reports Alsat.

"We analyzed all possible options and variants for participation, as a single party and as part of the European front, and the chairman Ali Ahmeti was authorized to continue the talks and propose a decision to the party which will be approved in the bodies of the party", added Bujar Osmani, DUI Spokesman.

In the framework of the central presidency of DUI, the internal party elections that should follow were also discussed. The presidential elections have also been a point of discussion in this context.
