Montenegro is hit by an earthquake again, this is the magnitude

Another less strong earthquake struck Montenegro early Saturday morning, which was the second in the last three days, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMCS) reported.
The earthquake was registered at 06:11 and, according to the data of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, its epicenter was near a municipality of Nikšić, the central city of Montenegro.
The shaking from the earthquake was also felt in Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to EMCS, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.6. The Department of Seismology of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology of Montenegro announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 14 kilometers. No damage or casualties were reported from this earthquake.
"Based on the numerical model of the change in intensity with distance in this region, the magnitude of the earthquake and the depth of the hypocenter, this earthquake cannot cause material damage in the epicentral area," the Department said. Two days ago, on Thursday, a more powerful earthquake, magnitude 5.4, hit Montenegro.
The shaking from that earthquake was also felt in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Albania. Almost exactly 45 years ago, on April 15, 1979, Montenegro was hit by a powerful, 7-point earthquake. Its epicenter was in the Adriatic Sea, between Ulcinj and Tivar, about 15 kilometers from the coast. At that time, 101 people lost their lives in Montenegro and 35 in Albania, while over 100,000 people were left homeless.
