The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has appeared in a video message with his father, addressed to the Serbian people, due to a news published by the media in Belgrade that insinuates that his biological father was the Albanian journalist Fahri Musliu.
While standing next to his father, Angjelko Vucic, the Serbian president declared that he is proud of his parents and his family.
"Those politicians who last night tried to attack the Vucic family through their media, did not only attack our family. They didn't attack my mother, my father's wife, my father, me... They attacked every family in Serbia, they want the destruction of our families and the destruction of our country as they destroyed it from 2000 to 2012," said Vucic.
The President says that the false news attacking his family was published to damage him politically, because two days ago he dissolved Parliament and announced new elections on December 17, 2023.
" They have written, for those who don't know, that a certain Mr. Fahri Musliu is my father, wanting to say that he is. I am proud of my father. He is much better than me and I have learned a lot from him… For my mother and I know how honest, loyal and honorable she was to him, her family and her country.
Let me tell you once again that my father is Angjelko, I love him endlessly and we will save all the families in Serbia from you irresponsible people, from you persecuted people, from you who will destroy everything he has done this country", the Serbian president concluded the video message, hugging his father Angjelko Vucic
