Gazmend Bardhi is a high political profile in the opposition. It could be even higher, if he was clear in his ambition to be the leader of an opposition faction. But he chose to be Basha's number 2, but a stronger and more radical voice than Basha against Berisha. All this until Basha withdrew to open the way for Berisha's withdrawal.
But apparently the period between Basha's withdrawal and his return was a period of reflection for Bardhi as well. Atij u duhen si numra t'i tregojë Berishës se vjen me “pajë me vete” por ata nuk kanë pse zbukurojnë sepeten e pajës së Gazmend Bardhit, pasi formalisht janë akoma deputetë të zgjedhur nga populli dhe jo deputetë të përzgjedhur nga Bardhi.
