"In Albania I made one of the most beautiful trips of my life. I was last summer. Albania until 1990 was a country isolated from the world. The beaches in Albania, informs dreno.net, have amazed me. They are wonderful. In Albania it is very cheap. I didn't choose to stay in hotels, but guesthouses. I adore those houses. You have to get up early there, but great job, I loved it.

They are not luxurious but I like them. I found such a one in Permet. When I booked I talk to the owner. It is very interesting to communicate with him. I wrote to him when I got close to my destination and he told me that he would come to pick me up, since the road was not paved. He comes to pick me up in a very old Jeep with giant wheels.
I go to a very small village. The owner had bought the house and renovated everything himself. His wife cooked in this house. The food in Albania was exceptional.
There is also the Church of Labova i Kryqi. I wish you would visit it because it is as beautiful as the Sistine Chapel.
It is so beautiful, everything is painted inside, there are frescoes and it looks like no one has ever set foot there. There are also inscriptions on it because when it was bombed in World War II, this village was really attacked. There were people who wrote on the walls of the church:
"1944, we are under attack, everyone will die".
