From first-timers to old loves and dream destinations, these are the vacations we're definitely suggesting for next year…
1. Sharjah Desert, Dubai
“With every destination we travel to with our little boys, I always try to sprinkle a little magic. This is where Magic Camps Dubai shines – it's a private luxury camp in the untrodden desert dunes of Sharjah. Whether it's sandboarding, quad biking or camel riding at dawn, it's an experience you'll never forget. With no access to electricity, the camp uses mostly solar power and candles for lighting, enabling children to gaze at the stars instead of screen time. “Japan has been on my bucket list for a long time – it's one of those places where you always hear people come back so enthralled. Next, I'd like to dive into the history of Kyoto (via express train, of course), where Six Senses is opening a spectacular urban sanctuary in 2024. Hakone, Hiroshima and Naoshima are all on the list as well, staying at those traditional Japanese ryokans and experiencing the hospitality that Japan is so famous for.”
3. San Francisco

“E vizitova Marrakeshin për herë të parë disa vite më parë për dasmën e një miku dhe u mahnita nga gjallëria dhe kontrastet e tij; tregjet plot zhurmë dhe kopshtet e qeta, të prekur nga dielli. Unë kam shpresuar të rezervoj një udhëtim sërish që atëherë, në mënyrë ideale për një javë. Do të filloja me një ose dy netë qëndrimi në zemër të Medinës në një nga hotelet e saj super elegante, si L’Hôtel Marrakech i Jasper Conran, P’tit Habibi i vogël me pesë dhoma, nga i cili do të eksploroja tregjet, do të kontrolloja muzeun e Yves Saint Laurent dhe do të pija pije në çatinë e hotelit Nobu. Më pas do të shkoja në periferi për disa net në një nga hotelet turistike mega-luksoze të vendosura midis kopshteve dhe fushave të golfit. 5. Zakinthos & Patmos, Greqi
"I visited Greece for the first time a few years ago for my best friend's wedding. We island hopped between Mykonos and Andros and was completely blown away by the food, the sights, the atmosphere and the people. Last summer we returned to Greece, but headed to Zakynthos. These vacations were a little different from the trips my husband and I used to take; now that we have a two-year-old son, the constant search is to find a place that's family-friendly but doesn't compromise on style, relaxation and good food. For this reason, we chose The Peligoni Club, which came highly recommended by friends looking for fun for parents and kids in equal measure. A beautiful boutique hotel with plenty to do for everyone, The Peligoni Club provided the most glorious stay and we've already booked to return next year – we'll be making a stopover in Patmos for a friend's wedding and can't wait to find out more of the island magic of Greece.”
6. Sri Lanka
“Sri Lanka is the next destination I want to visit on my bucket list and I hope to finally make that dream a reality in 2024. It has everything I look for in a holiday – from the incredible beaches in Galle and the historic sites of the Cultural Triangle, to amazing wildlife (Sri Lanka is the best place for big game safaris outside of Africa) and delicious food. Uga Chena Huts and Wild Coast Tented Lodge seem like the perfect blend of off-the-beaten-track luxury and romance – my idea of paradise. After an itinerary full of excursions, a few days of total relaxation at a resort like Amanwella would be heaven." / TAR
