Erzeni is the young man from Kosovo, who ran from Pristina to Tirana within 24 hours, covering 260 kilometers, just for the flag celebration.
Today he was invited to the studio of the show "Wake Up", where he revealed why he took this initiative. The young man says that it was not very difficult, since he did all this with great desire and passion.
He adds that he wanted to experience the sacrifices of people who have made in the past for this nation and he wanted to feel himself in the clothes and cells of these martyrs.
" It was very inspiring for me and I was convinced that I would reach the right goal from the moment I made the decision. I did it because I wanted to feel myself in the clothes and their cell of the people who have sacrificed for this country. I experience a lot of what people have done in the past, so I wanted to be in their spirit and run free on the Nation Road. You know that Kosovo was under the Serbian regime and we were forbidden to move freely through our streets. So for me it was a very good feeling", said Erzeni.
Asked if there were obstacles along the way because the weather was very bad in those days, he said:
"Only the climatic conditions have conditioned my running pace a bit, otherwise I have not had any health problems, thank God that everything went well, I have not had any other problems".
Meanwhile, when Erzeni arrived in Tirana, he received a medal from the Municipality of Tirana, which he expresses gratitude and thanks.
