If intelligence isn't at the top of your list of things you look for in a woman, then you should put this trait first, because new research shows that having an intelligent wife can make you live longer.
Intelligence and beauty have long been considered the phenomenal combination in a partner, but now experts claim that this combination can also be phenomenal for your health, as well as prevent diseases like dementia.
Scientists have come to this conclusion after numerous experiments with identical twins, where they saw that those who married intelligent women were less likely to suffer from dementia.
Lawrence Whalley, professor of mental health in the College of Medicine and Science, explained: "Men are never told what they need to do to live longer, and that is to marry intelligent women. There is no better medicine for madness than an intelligent woman."
