EU envoy on official visit to Kosovo today/ Meetings with Osman, Kurti and Bislim expected

The European Union's envoy for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Peter Sorensen, is expected to arrive in Kosovo today for an official visit. It is learned that during his stay, Sorensen will hold meetings with Kosovo's top leaders, President Vjosa Osmani, and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The meeting with President Osmani is expected to begin at 09:45, while the one with Prime Minister Kurti is expected to begin at 10:30. After the meeting with Kurti, Sorensen will also be received by the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi.

Sorensen's visit comes at an important period for Kosovo and its relations with the European Union, where the focus of discussions will be the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, the challenges of implementing the agreements reached so far and the perspective of European integration for Kosovo. This is his first visit to Kosovo since his appointment as EU Special Representative.
