From January, no visas for short-term stays! The rules that citizens of Kosovo must respect for travel to Schengen

From January 1, 2024, citizens of Kosovo will be able to travel to the Schengen area without visas for short-term stays. Visa-free travel means that you can travel freely in the countries of the Schengen area, but you will not be able to work.
Visa-free allows citizens of Kosovo to travel without a visa for short stays in the Schengen area, for example, as a tourist, to visit friends or family, to participate in cultural or sports events, business meetings, medical treatment, for programs short-term educational events such as seminars, conferences, workshops, summer schools and any similar activity.
In April of this year, the European Parliament approved the decision on the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo, with which the decision-making procedures for this issue were completed. The approval in the European Parliament was done without a vote, as there was no opposition.
Here are the countries where it will be possible to travel without a visa for up to 90 days:
The Republic of Kosovo is the only country in the Western Balkans whose citizens cannot move freely in the Schengen area. Kosovo was the only decision in the Balkans that had the most criteria for obtaining visa liberalization for its citizens.
