A member of the Kosovo police was killed and 2 others were injured as a result of a gun attack in Zveçan. The Kosovo police have announced that one of the attackers in the north, namely in the Banjské village area, was killed in the exchange of gunfire with the Kosovo police in Bitola. Prime Minister Kurti announced that 30 armed Serbs are trapped in Manasitur and are exchanging fire with Kosovo police officers.
The event happened around 02:34 in the morning on September 24, 2023, when at the entrance to the village of Banjské, two heavy trucks without license plates were placed on the bridge, blocking the movement.
