In a recent development that has sparked intrigue in the scientific community, renowned NASA scientist Dr. Michelle Thaller has presented a theory that proves signs of alien life within our solar system.
Considered an inhospitable environment thanks to its acid clouds and scorching temperatures, Venus is far from the first choice for such a theory. However, the unconventional perspective of Dr. Thaller challenges this assumption.
She shows some atmospheric indications that, according to her, hint at the presence of life forms on this seemingly hostile planet, foreign media write.
" I never expected Venus. But Venus is now one of those where we see something in the atmosphere that looks like it could be made by bacteria," said Dr Thaller, a scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
Dr. Thaller is not alone in this opinion, a number of scientific studies propose the same theory. In the opposite direction, away from the Sun, two missions are set to explore Jupiter's icy moons for signs of life by 2030, the European Space Agency's Liquid and NASA's Clipper.
