The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, during his visit to Lezhë, held meetings with citizens and businesses of this city, with whom he talked about the main problems they have and which await solutions from policymaking.
The citizens told the DP chairman that they expect a radical change in the role of politics in solving their problems. Precisely for this reason, Basha introduced them to the deep reform that the Democratic Party has proposed, where the aim is for citizens to be decision-makers and their voice heard.
"Today, in Lezha, I spoke with various citizens of the city, about the economy, security and their daily lives. Everyone is clear that we need a radical change in the role of politics in solving their problems. They they want to be heard, they want to be involved in decision-making, and for this they must have a dignified representation that is as close as possible to them and their problems. For this purpose, we have proposed
the purification of politics through vettign, the open lists to be giving the people the freedom to choose their representatives, the equality of the vote, so that the strength of the citizens is the same, regardless of the county they live in.
