A cadastral employee has raised her concerns with DP leader Sali Berisha about a property transfer scheme, stating that on orders from Edi Rama, hundreds of apartments belonging to corrupt officials are being transferred to the names of anonymous persons.

According to her, these actions are being carried out following requests from international partners for seizures, and during a conversation with citizens on social media, she asked Berisha whether the DP will request an investigative commission on this issue.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said that the opposition has taken concrete steps in this direction, but added that the majority is using the numbers in the Assembly to hinder the functioning of the rule of law and block the establishment of investigative commissions.

Question:  Mr. Berisha, I am a cadastral employee. By order of Edi Rama, hundreds of apartments belonging to corrupt officials are being transferred to the names of anonymous people, after orders have been received from partners for seizures. So, partners are being sabotaged, as happened with anti-drug operations. Will you ask for an investigative commission?

Sali Berisha: We will request investigative commissions, and we have submitted such a commission for the National Agency for Land and Infrastructure, and of course we will also submit it for the cadastre and all major issues.

But the truth is, as you know, that just as he used the 83 mandates as criminal knives to block the rule of law, he uses them to block investigative commissions.

Therefore, for you, for all citizens, the only path remains a powerful revolt, a peaceful uprising of all Albanians.
