Journalist Klodiana Lala commented on the protest that brought together all Albanians who are protesting, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Lala told News24 that she would prefer that the initiators convince citizens to stand in front of the Prime Minister's Office today and in front of Parliament tomorrow.
"There are citizens who have not found themselves in this country because of corruption. No one is against development. Mr. Rama has lied 5 times about Zvërnec alone. I don't know how he got the sum of 4 billion euros. His reaction in the meeting with the socialists was shameful. He was in great difficulty and was trying to justify himself.
This protest has started the process of overthrowing Mr. Rama. Is a technical government required? Yes, there should be clear alternatives. We have organized crime that influences elections, we have a fire group that delegitimizes and smears any figure who tries to think differently from them. And the bad luck of this country is that we have a problematic media.
We are on the 11th day and this is a well-organized protest. The initiating group has studied the terrain very well, there is perfect coordination, but now is the time… I would prefer that the initiators today convince the citizens to stand there in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
"There is a parliament tomorrow, they will have to put positive pressure to demand accountability. And this protest does not only harm Edi Rama, but also the opposition, which is in its darkest day. There will have to be a competition now," said journalist Klodiana Lala.
