Factory in Croatia engulfed in flames

In Pustodol Začretski, in the municipality of Sveti Križ Začretje in Croatia, a large fire has broken out in a production facility of the well-known designer furniture company "Prostoria".
The event was reported at around 16:22, when the Fire Operations Center received notification of the incident. According to the Krapina-Zagorje Police, the fire has engulfed a large part of the industrial facility.
Local portal Zagorje International reports that the flames started in a small shelter next to which were large amounts of sponge waste, and then spread rapidly throughout the facility.
Witnesses at the scene described dramatic scenes, saying a large cloud of black smoke rose above the factory, while flames were seen from great distances, index.hr reports.
"I've been working here for seven years, I'm speechless. The shelter is burning, the roof is burning... I can't," declared a factory worker through tears.
An ambulance was also sent to the scene as a precautionary measure, while local authorities have confirmed that the gas system has been shut off for safety reasons, as the facility has a gas dryer.
The fire remains active and has not been brought under control, while authorities are continuing emergency operations.
