CEC sends figures to Erion Braçe, here are how many votes the socialist MP has received since 2001: Support has only increased in 20 years

The Central Election Commission has officially responded to Socialist MP Erion Braçe, following his request to administer election results over the years. The institution that manages and administers elections has given Braçe popular support over the past two decades.

From 2001, when the CEC first began recording information, until 2021, Erion Braçe has received thousands of votes, starting from Berat, Divjaka, Lushnja and Fier. A support that has been growing.

The Central Election Commission does not provide information about the socialist politician's first two electoral battles, 1996 and 1997, and has not included the last elections of May 11, 2025, according to the document provided by VNA.

Year 2005: 40.07%
Year 2009: 48.3%
Year 2013: 45%
Year 2017: 57.2%
Year 2021: 52.8% (15,622 personal votes)

Socialist MP and one of the most important politicians in the ranks of the Albanian left, Erion Braçe, has officially expressed his ambition to run for mayor of Tirana in the 2027 elections, as Erion Veliaj cannot run again because he has served 3 terms.

He asked the Central Election Commission to provide him with a complete overview of the electoral results over the years immediately after the announcement of the candidacy, while the leader of the Socialists on the other side, Edi Rama, supports Ogerta Manastirliu.

He has stated that she will be the Socialists' nominee to succeed Erion Velina, but now that Erion Braçe has also appeared on the scene, it is awaited with interest what he will decide, whether he will consider his collaborator and early socialist, or continue with Ogerta.
