Acting Interior Minister Albana Koçiu calls the opposition march a provocation. In an official reaction, Koçiu says that going to the Police Directorate with a Molotov cocktail is a feverish desire for escalation.
Koçiu also mocks the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, calling him "Don Quixote who argues with garbage cans like windmills."

"This fire cannot burn any reform or Albania's European future, but only the last remnants of an opposition that no longer knows who it is, where it is going, or why it is shouting," the acting Interior Minister said in a statement.
