Renowned politician and analyst Varoufakis breaks down Rama's longevity in power: He has bought powerful people in the opposition!

Journalist Xhensil Shkembi has shared with his followers an analysis by former Greek Finance Minister Yannis Varoufakis on the situation of Albanian citizens and the way they react to politics and politicians in our country.
According to Varoufakis, the instinct for reaction among Albanian citizens is demoralized, leaving them empowered only virtually, through social networks. News, comments, and anger against injustices remain online and rarely translate into concrete action.
"Edi Rama has been in power since 2013 because he has removed the instinct of concrete reaction from Albanians. Remove the instinct of reaction from an animal and it will soon cease to exist. We humans are the same. If they take away our instinct of reaction, the only unconditional freedom we will have is through social networks ," he is reported to have said.
Meanwhile, he further underlines that this phenomenon is not limited to Albanian citizens, but also extends within political parties, where according to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama has "bought" opposition politicians who, in addition to "embarrassing" them, have also given them "golden plates" with the sole purpose of showing that everyone has a price and giving a signal to citizens that the opposition can leave them in the lurch when it comes to their own interests.
The minister emphasizes that this spirit from the head of government has also been raised within his party, where even within the Socialists, no one dares to raise their voice or express their opinion if it is different from what the leadership thinks.
"The former Greek minister decided to analyze the situation in Albania and said these words; "Edi Rama has been in power since 2013 because he has removed the instinct of concrete reaction from Albanians. If they take away our instinct of reaction, the only unconditional freedom we will have is through social networks. There, everyone feels powerful, famous, wise, revolutionary, populist. This is what the prime minister has done in Albania.
He has bought 90% of the media but he curses them. He has bought some powerful people from the opposition, he shames them. He has even placed some of them in important positions to tell the people the message that, you all have a price and that no one from the opposition cares about you, that's how they came to me. This demoralizes people and takes away their instinct to react. It even goes to the point where it takes away the instinct to react in their own party. No one says an opinion against it, and no one is even asked about their opinion. This was told to me by my Albanian counterpart himself", the former minister is reported to have said.

Unë u thashë se Mitsotakis po qëndron në pushtet i palëkundur sepse ka ditur të lëshojë pe kur ka qenë në rrezik, duke parë situatën me fermerët kur u dha pak a shumë atë që donin apo qoftë e me sindikalistët, lidhur me protestën masive kombëtare për aksidentin e Tempit, aq sa familjeve të viktimave "me lejen" e qeverisë po u jepen nga 400.000 euro dëmshpërblim.
Ish ministri grek vendosi të analizonte situatën në Shqipëri dhe tha këto fjalë; "Edi Rama ndodhet në pushtet prej vitit 2013 sepse ka hequr instinktin e reagimit konkret tek shqiptarët. Hiqini instinktin e reagimit nje kafshe dhe nuk ka për të ekzistuar se shpejti. Njësoj jemi e ne njerëzit. Në qoftë se na heqin instinktin e reagimit, të vetmen liri të pakushtëzuar do e kemi vetëm nëpërmjet rrjeteve sociale. Aty kushdo ndihet i fuqishëm, i njohur, i mençur, revolucionar, populist. Këtë ka bërë në Shqipëri kryeministri. Ka blerë 90% të mediave por i shan ato. Ka blerë disa njerëz të fuqishëm të opozitës, i turpëron ata. Madje disa prej tyre i ka vendosur në poste të rëndësishme për t'i thënë popullit mesazhin se, të gjithë ju keni një çmim dhe se askush nuk bëhet merak për ju nga opozita, ja sesi erdhën tek unë. Kjo i demoralizon njerëzit dhe u heq instinktin e reagimit. Madje, shkon deri aty ku instinktin e reagimit e heq në partinë e vet. Askush nuk thotë një mendim kundër, madje askush nuk pyetet për mendimin e vet. Këtë ma ka thënë vet një homologu im shqiptar. "
Në fillim m'u duk sikur na ofendoi por për të mos krijuar ndonjë situatë, nuk e kundërshtova dhe po pyesja veten, a kishte të drejtë? Në fakt, po!

What I wanted to say through this short article is the confirmation of what the former Greek minister said, with one difference. I do not think that this is a strategy of Edi Rama or Albanian politics to remove the instinct of reaction from the Albanian people. I think that we as Albanians do not want this instinct. I think that we are comfortable with the phone in our hand.
And no matter how much the price of oil goes up, no matter how many roads collapse, no matter how many farmers are harmed, no matter how many thefts of public funds are committed, we as Albanians will see them as pornographic shows for "online masturbation" on social networks, because in reality, the only instinct we have left is to touch the phone screen and nothing more!
