DP MP Oriola Pampuri said that there should be immediate elections in her political force.
Pampuri in an interview for Euronews Albania pointed out that until before the lists for the elections were submitted, they asked the candidates from the primaries to run with the DP logo, but that this was rejected.
She gave these statements while being asked about a return of the former DP candidate Lulzim Basha.
"Basha went to meetings with young people. I support immediate elections in DP. We waited a long time, we waited two years. There was enough time to invite anyone who wanted this union. There can be no mechanical coupling. While we were providing platforms. The opportunity to have this type of solution, on the other hand, we had lynchings, the opposite. We were with the offer that the candidates of the primaries come to run in the PD logo. This was done until the last minute. Those who lost will be held responsible," she said.
