Inter and Milan take ownership of the "San Siro" stadium, the Prosecutor's Office launches an investigation into fraud in the auction to favor the two clubs

Inter and Milan are now officially the owners of the "San Siro" stadium after the bureaucratic procedures for the transfer of the facility from the municipality of Milan, owned by both clubs, have been completed.
It was the clubs themselves who made the announcement today, making it clear that they had also paid part of the money that served to make the facility and the surrounding area theirs for use.
But not all news is good, as in parallel with the purchase of the stadium, there has also been an investigation by the Italian Prosecutor's Office, which suspects that the tender for the purchase of the stadium was manipulated in favor of the two clubs.
A group called "Si Meazza", which is represented by a well-known Italian promoter, Claudio Trotta, had announced that it wanted to participate in the auction to buy the stadium, as provided for by law.
Trota has filed a complaint with the Prosecutor's Office and has been questioned about this complaint, in which he argued that the auction process, which opened on March 24 and closed on April 30, which included the stadium and the surrounding area, had a very limited time that made it impossible to submit offers other than the joint one of Milan and Inter. Therefore, he has filed a complaint for irregularities in the tender for the sale of the stadium and has officially launched an investigation into this matter.
