AKU destroys 75.8 kg of meat without identification stamp at Milot market

The National Food Authority (AKU) announced that during an inspection at the Milot Market, DRAKU Lezha found an individual trading pork without a veterinary certificate, without an identification stamp and without a tax invoice, in conditions unsuitable for trading.

As a result, a quantity of 75.8 kg of pork was blocked and destroyed, while the responsible entity was administratively fined.

The NFA emphasizes that measures were taken immediately to prevent any risk to consumers and invites citizens to buy only from licensed entities and to report any irregularities in food trading.
