Lost in 'Grija i Grama', police rescue two Canadian tourists

Dhërmi Border Police came to the aid of 2 Canadian tourists who had lost their way in Karaburun.
Yesterday evening, around 11:00 PM, the Vlora DVKM operations room was notified that two Canadian citizens, separated from their group during a hike in the Karaburuni area, had lost their orientation and did not know how to return.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Dhërmi Border Police services were organized, who departed by boat towards the Bay of Grama.
Upon arrival, the Police officers continued the search on foot, in the difficult mountainous terrain and in dark conditions, making it possible, at around 24:00, to locate and find the two tourists, who were in good health.
The tourists were escorted to Grama Bay and joined their group, while thanking the State Police services for the readiness and professionalism shown.
The Vlora Border Police remains committed to guaranteeing the safety of citizens and visitors, in every corner of the territory.
