Ireland the back door to enter England, "Telegraph" reveals the offers

Migrant smuggling networks are advertising on social media an illegal route into the United Kingdom through Dublin, promising safe and guaranteed passage to England, British media report.

According to an investigation by the British newspaper The Telegraph , traffickers exploit the lack of passport controls on the border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

In posts published on TikTok and other platforms, they offer plane trips to Dublin and then passage to Britain, for payments reaching up to 7 thousand pounds.

The case has gained increased attention following the stabbing attack in Belfast, where a Sudanese national, identified as Hadi Alodid, is accused of attempted murder of a 44-year-old man. According to authorities, he is suspected of having first arrived in Dublin from France and then travelled to Belfast.

The incident has sparked tensions and protests in Northern Ireland, where attacks have been reported on homes, vehicles and businesses of immigrants. Entire families have been evacuated by police for safety reasons.

In response to the situation, the British government announced the strengthening of operations against illegal immigration and human trafficking. The Home Office stated that it would intensify checks and arrests of people who exploit legal loopholes in movement between Ireland and the United Kingdom.

According to official data, over 900 immigrants suspected of using this entry route have been arrested over the past year, including Romanian, Albanian and Afghan citizens.

British authorities are also considering new measures to force social platforms to more quickly remove content that promotes migrant trafficking or incites public unrest.
