Our country has been affected by bad weather in the last 24 hours with rain and snow, mainly in the north of the country, causing difficulties in the movement of vehicles.
The Albanian Road Authority announced that snowfall has begun in the north of the country today. According to the ARRSH, snowfall has occurred in Bogë – Theth, Pukë – Fushë-Arrëz, Kukës – Ura Zapodit and in Qafë Mali.
" Snow removal vehicles are working to clear the roads of snow and distribute salt ," the ARA reported.
The ARA appeals to drivers to be extra careful due to the moisture on the roads, and to equip themselves with winter tires and chains when traveling to mountainous areas with the presence of snow.
