Mentally ill mother and daughter 'terrorize' residents of a building in Manzë, with stones, screams and knives

Two women, a mother and daughter, who suffer from mental health problems, lived alone on the second floor of the building, becoming a serious danger to the community, according to residents.
The editorial office of the show "Fiks Fare" has received several videos showing the two women going out onto a balcony with hard objects in their hands and shouting at passersby. In another case, one of them is seen entering a supermarket and insulting the saleswoman, accusing her of stealing her goods.
The residents of the building say they have been living in fear for a long time. One of them says he lives one floor below, while his son lives on the same floor as the two women. According to him, they have gone to his son's apartment several times with knives in hand, even at a time when his daughter-in-law was pregnant.
Another neighbor recounts that the door of his apartment was hit with bricks, after the mother suspected that he was keeping her daughter locked inside. Meanwhile, a first-floor resident says that his 4-year-old grandson is afraid to move on the stairs of the building because of the situation.
The problems are not limited to inside the building. A businesswoman who has a business across the street from the building says her shop windows were broken by rocks thrown from the balcony by two women.
Residents say they have requested police assistance several times, but without concrete results, causing the situation to remain the same.
After the intervention of "Fiks Fare", the journalists went to the police station in Manëz. The station chief decided to intervene immediately, sending an ambulance to transport the two women to the hospital.
During the intervention, the girl was found on the street and strongly resisted getting into the ambulance, screaming and objecting, until she was escorted by police officers. Meanwhile, in the apartment, the mother refused to leave, being transported on a stretcher.
Both were taken to the Durrës Regional Hospital for initial medical evaluation, with the aim of further transfer to the Elbasan Psychiatric Hospital, where they have previously received treatment.
