Former SP MP 'supports' Spiropali: The corrupt and traitors try to hide the problems

Former Socialist Party MP Petro Koçi, in a long post on Facebook, spoke about recent developments in the Socialist Party, where several MPs (Spiropali and Braçe) have come out against some decisions made within this political force.
In his post, Koçi writes that the corrupt or traitors of the popular vote of confidence in the SP try to cover up problems or regressive phenomena. According to him, they avoid the power of the party membership in decision-making processes.
" That is why I have asked for the relationship to be balanced by giving the membership at least half of the power of the delegates. The republic should be taken out of the hands of the leaders and delegates and handed over to the sovereign and his representatives ," he emphasizes.
He emphasized that critical voices must show constructive restraint, so as not to leave room for the corrupt to carry the SP flag.
What stands out in Koç's post is the approval of the status by Socialist MP Elisa Spiropali, who has had an open clash with the Prime Minister and SP leader, Edi Rama.
Loving the Socialist Party is different from needing the Socialist Party.
Those who love it try to improve it, to perfect it because they appreciate the efforts, suffering, sacrifices, and contributions of thousands of its militants over the years.
Those who simply need the party for their careers and to enrich themselves often steal its power, squander it, and tarnish its public morality.
If things don't go well, those who love the SP try to intervene by analyzing, advising, and proposing.
The corrupt or traitors of the popular vote of confidence in the Socialist Party try to cover up problems or regressive phenomena. They build schemes that avoid the power of party membership in decision-making processes.
They behave with the arrogance of a power delegated from above. They set the political weather in the party. They behave like former Bajraktare but dressed in Armani.
Therefore, I have asked that the relationship be balanced by giving the membership at least half of the power of the delegates. The Republic be taken out of the hands of the directors and delegates and handed over to the sovereign and his representatives.
The government should not expect only SPAK and GJKKO to fight corruption, but should intervene decisively with administrative measures against any official who results in violations, especially financial ones, from the controls of the Supreme Audit Institution or state audits.
The party should become more collegial in representative decision-making and the assessment of the SP membership on important political issues should be institutionally respected.
The institutional approach aims to transform the party into a democratic instrument of citizen participation in governance throughout the entire period of the mandate.
Critical voices should in all cases maintain ethics and ensure constructive self-restraint so as not to leave room for the corrupt to carry the banner of the principle of unity.
The Socialist Party has all the energy, experience, and wisdom to self-correct in every aspect, to move forward in a successful government that achieves the country's European integration with merit and that challenges a pathetic, backward-looking opposition in future electoral confrontations.
