Five assets worth hundreds of thousands of euros have been seized in Lushnja by the prosecution. It is about properties of a well-known name for more than two decades in our country, which earlier also became an object of the OFL.
He submitted the self-declaration form at that time, but a few months later he was put in handcuffs in Macedonia and as a result the investigations against him and his assets continued. It is about Saimir Taullaun, who together with his brothers became known from that bloody confrontation with their rivals from the Lushnja gang. Even Taullau himself has fallen into organized ambushes several times but was able to escape.
Already, the Prosecutor's Office of Fier has ordered the police of Lushnja to lock 5 properties, which are registered in the name of Taullaut's family members. According to an announcement distributed to the media by the Prosecutor's Office of Fier, it was announced that the assets of the businessman Saimir Taullau and his relatives who managed these properties fictitiously, but were indirectly owned by him, were seized.
In Lushnja, the Taullau family is known as a rival of Aldo Bare's gang, while Saimir Taullau escaped an assassination attempt on the evening of November 24, 2018, after two masked people fired Kalashnikov volleys at the bar, at the Plow roundabout. Among other things, it is about 2 gas stations, one in the "18 Tetori" neighborhood, the "Loni Dhamo" neighborhood of Lushnja.
PROSECUTOR
The Prosecutor's Office of Fier officially announced that on the basis of Law 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and combating of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", as amended, it has registered and is conducting investigations for property proceedings criminal case no. 1, year 2024, which refers to the assets owned by the citizen Saimir Taullau, as well as his relatives and natural persons, specifically the citizens AT, F. T, MT, ET and KT, for whom there is data enough that their assets are indirectly owned by the citizen Saimir Taullau. It is suspected that these assets originate from the criminal activity of the citizen Saimir Taullau, specifically from the criminal offenses provided by articles 283 and 283/a of the Criminal Code.
Pursuant to the court decision and Article 14 et seq. of Law no. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On preventing and combating organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", as amended, the execution order was issued by the prosecutor, which was immediately sent for execution to the judicial police services of Fier Local Police Directorate, Seized and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency at the Ministry of Finance, Tirana, as well as the State Cadastre Agency, Lushnjë Regional Directorate.
The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier, in accordance with the recommendations of the Assembly of Albania and the priority recommendations of the Council of Ministers, has increased attention in the direction of criminal offenses related to the cleaning of the products of the criminal offense and unjust enrichment, using all procedural means in order to seize, confiscate and transfer them to the state.
