The knife fight for the theft of cannabis, the perpetrator of the murder of the 33-year-old Albanian and the wounding of his friend is sentenced

Jetmir Pemaj, 33, died from a deep stab wound to the abdomen during a fight in Harrow Street, Whitmore Reans, on July 27 last year.
Another victim, Franc Curri, was also stabbed during the violence that broke out between the two rival gangs at around 5am, but survived.
The two Albanian citizens were trying to protect the "grass house" from a group of thieves, inside a rented apartment in Newhampton Road.
One of them, Lucious Winchester, 24 (pictured below), stabbed the two during a fight after they chased him down a nearby street. Winchester, of Quinton, was sentenced on Tuesday after previously admitting murdering Pemaj and wounding Curri and aggravated burglary.
Sentencing, Judge Michael Chambers said: “All these offenses arise from an incident which occurred in the early hours of July 27 last year when you were part of a number of attackers in an aggravated burglary in Newhampton Road in Wolverhampton.
This is another case of an established cannabis factory leading to a violent confrontation between two rival groups."
He was identified after the force discovered three of his knives had been left in the area and police officers arrested him two days later.
