A 17-year-old was injured yesterday in Saranda, and is in a Vlora hospital out of danger. The police have arrested the perpetrator, but the father of the injured man says there was a second person who has not yet been caught. He threatens to commit suicide if justice is not served. Meanwhile, the arrested 17-year-old has claimed that he shot in self-defense.
"If my son is guilty, the police, the court and the Prosecution should take action. I want the second perpetrator to be caught because he put pressure on the boy. I have told the Vlora police to catch the second perpetrator because he hit the boy on March 22. He was 100 percent for yesterday. I want the second perpetrator to be caught. The boy's condition is bad at the moment. If the police do not take action, I will take action directly with the person. I have 4 children, I raised them with care and the drug dealers of Saranda cannot kill me. They stick me with knives, gloves and crowbars in their hands," said the 17-year-old's father.
Since Thursday, the 17-year-old who was injured by his peer in Saranda has been receiving medical assistance at the Vlora Hospital. His health condition has improved since the knife did not touch his vital organs. The injured man's father says the conflict started earlier, on March 22, when his son was hit with a crowbar by the same people. However, he did not tell his family for fear of threats.
"The fight happened on March 22. His friends took him. After an hour I found out that the boy is in the police. He is not telling the truth because they had pressured him. If you tell the truth, we will kill your brother and sister. One of them hit him with a crowbar, the other one who was inside was stabbing him. I found out about these things last night. When they took me yesterday, I went back and they told me that the boy was in a bad state. I saw the police at the hospital, they had caught the perpetrator. They knew the boy and they were close to each other. I don't know what they got into a fight about."
While yesterday he was attacked with a knife by the same aggressors. Saranda police have arrested the perpetrator, a 17-year-old with the initials KC, but the father of the injured person claims that there is a second person who has not yet been arrested.
