Greek police reveal mafia group's plan/ 20 prisoners would take the guard hostage to escape from prison, including Albanians

A group of prisoners in Greece planned to escape from prison by taking a prison guard hostage. But their plan was foiled after Greek police discovered the plans of the prisoners in the Koridhalos cells.

As reported by Greek media , after a police operation in a public place, a Glock pistol and a magazine with 15 cartridges were found hidden inside an electrical appliance. 20 prisoners were also arrested, but their identities have not been revealed.

These are people of Turkish, Albanian and Greek origin, who had created this "partnership" with a common goal; they had even managed to smuggle a firearm into the prison. Investigations have now begun to learn how the firearm was found and smuggled into the prison.
