The assets of Ervis Martinaj, the gambling boss, are seized. The appeal upholds the decision

The appeal of GJKKO upholds the decision to seize the assets of gambling boss Ervis Martinaj.
The Special Appeal considered this Monday the appeal of Ervis Martinaj's family members, on the seizure of 34 movable and immovable assets, including apartments, land, company shares and vehicles.
The Special Prosecutor's Office, based on the Anti-Mafia law, has seized the assets in question, with the argument that they were created by criminal activities.
After today's hearing, the Appeal decided to uphold the decision to seize these assets, while not legitimizing the lawyers for Ervis Martinaj, because it was signed by the family members and not by the 40-year-old himself.
We recall that the much-wanted Ervis Martinaj was declared missing by his family in the summer of last year, claiming that they no longer had any contact with him.
Meanwhile, the police and the prosecutor's office are investigating his disappearance, while there is still no trace of Martinaj.
