Food scandal in Tirana! 738 kg of dangerous chicken meat stored in alarming conditions was seized, AKU suspends the activity of 'KMY'

After the discovery of a quantity of dangerous chicken meat, the AKU has suspended the activity of the KMY company in Tirana.
During the inspections carried out at the KMY business premises, 738 kilograms of chicken fillet and breast were seized, due to serious violations of hygiene and sanitation standards. The verifications showed that the meat had been treated in inappropriate conditions, as during the freezing and thawing processes it had been placed directly on the ground. In addition, the product was stored in an environment where the presence of mold and rust was detected, which constitutes a serious risk to food safety.
At the end of the inspections, the Tirana AKU decided to suspend the entity's activity until the required legal conditions were fully met. In the meantime, the seized quantity of 738 kilograms of chicken meat was destroyed.
