The absence of one of the members of the GJKKO judging panel has caused the confrontation of justice witness Luftar Recit with Emiljano Shullazi, for the murder of Vajdin Lame and Klodian Saliu, to fail again. The reason for the postponement of the session was the absence of one of the members of the GJKKO judging panel, Etleva Deda, who is hospitalized. The next session will take place on January 27 at 08:30.
The repentant justice, Luftar Reçi, was asked to testify in the judicial process, against Indri Taullai, Emiljano Shullazit, Viktor Imeraj, Lulzim Berisha, Plaurent Dervishaj and Indri Rusi. Reçi is the main witness of the prosecution who has agreed to show the background (according to his version) for the murders in February 2005.
He explained the dynamics of the murders that shook the country in 2005, as well as the implication of the former Durrës gang. Lulzim Berisha, Indrit Rusi, Viktor Ymeri, Emiljano Shullazi and Imdrit Tallau of Indrit Rusi were charged for the two sensational murders in 2005.
